Install WordPress in Webuzo control panel is a straightforward process. WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based on PHP & MySQL. In this tutorial, I am going to discuss how to install WordPress on the Webuzo Panel.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it:
Access Webuzo Control Panel:
- Log in to your Webuzo control panel using your admin credentials.
- The login URL is typically something like
http://yourdomain.com:2087.

Install Webuzo System Apps (if not already installed):
- Once logged in, navigate to
Apps→Install a App - Install the necessary system apps like Apache, MySQL, and PHP if they are not already installed.

Set Up Domain:
- Go to
Domain Management→Add Domainto add the domain where you want to install WordPress.

Install WordPress in webuzo:
- Navigate to the
Applications section - Click on
WordPressfrom the list of available apps. - Click on the
Installbutton.


Configure Installation:
- Choose Protocol: Select whether you want to install WordPress using
http://orhttps://. - Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install WordPress.
- In Directory: If you want to install WordPress in a subdirectory (e.g.,
http://yourdomain.com/blog), specify the directory. Leave this field blank if you want to install it in the root directory (e.g.,http://yourdomain.com). - Site Settings: Enter your site name and site description.
- Admin Account: Enter your admin username, password, and email. Make sure to use a strong password.
- Database Settings: You can leave this as default unless you need to customize your database settings.

Advanced Options (Optional):
- You can configure additional settings such as database table prefix, disable update notifications, etc., in the advanced options.

Install WordPress in webuzo:
- Once you’ve configured all the settings, click on the
Installbutton to Install WordPress in webuzo - The installation process will begin, and it should complete in a few minutes.

Access WordPress Admin:
- Once Install WordPress in webuzo is complete, you’ll see a success message with a link to your WordPress admin area.
- You can access the WordPress admin dashboard by going to
http://yourdomain.com/wp-adminand logging in with the credentials you set up.

Post-Installation:
- You can now start customizing your WordPress site by installing themes and plugins according to your requirements.
